A limiting belief is a thought or mindset that one considers a truth and stops them from taking certain actions. Exploring limited beliefs can open possibilities in life and uncover new opportunities.
During a recent coaching session, a client shared that they believed there were two options to choose from in order to move forward with their situation. As the conversation progressed, they came to understand that seeing the solution from the limits of the two choices held them back. They began to see other possibilities for moving forward. These fresh viewpoints energized them and it became something exciting to look forward to as opposed to feeling so tied to the limiting options.
